I’m a multi-disciplinary artist based in southern California.
Taking photography and art courses in school grounded me in a lifelong appreciation of art. I spent untold hours sketching, painting, and sculpting.
Years ago, I was lucky enough to travel to Europe; an experience which offered me wonderful opportunities to use my trusty Fuji SLR. I was drawn mostly to landscapes, gothic cathedrals, and cemeteries. For quite some time, that’s all I photographed in Europe and America. About ten years ago, I began experimenting with digital due to the immediacy and flexibility it offered. I now shoot exclusively digital, on Sony gear.
My work is now evolving again which is incredibly fulfilling. Instead of JUST landscapes, I am moving into other areas of photography - headshots, fitness, body/boudoir, model portfolios, and lifestyle/social media. I am excited about the possibilities in each of these areas.
I feel very strongly about individual agency. It’s important to me to create a safe, secure, judgement-free space where my models are:
Comfortable to express themselves freely
Confident they will be represented in the best possible way
Not subjected to pressure to do anything that makes them uneasy
I love working with people who are just as passionate and engaged as I am. I don’t see you as a client. I see you as a collaborator; and I’d love to create something awesome together.
